I didn’t even know Google Adsense has a new Term of Service (TOS) rolled out until I read Lilian’s blog. Unknowingly I might even have totally forgotten about it, after reading it perhaps. Well the important thing is, there’s some major changes to the new TOS, and you should take note

Jim Karter has a lowdown on the new TOS

1. You can put adsense search and referral ads on pages without content
2. You can put adsense on error, registration, chat and thank you pages
3. You need privacy policy on your site with says that advertisers (google) may use cookies to track information
4. You can show adsense ads from more than one adsense account on same page at the same time
5. You can now run contextual ads from other companies like yahoo on the same page

I would like to point out the important part is now, that you need a privacy policy page if you’re displaying Google AdSense. I’ve mine here. You can copy, paste and make changes or generate it online as I did

I’ve to admit, I did tried to read the TOS couple of times previously, but I couldn’t really understand the cheem parts plus there’s too much to remember. Who goes in details on the term of service right? Well despite all that we all should try to comply, as at the end of the day, it’s us blogger who will stand to lose if we’re penalized & suspended by Google for not complying
