Looks like Google AdSense Mobile is now available in my location of Singapore and straightaway I got working to prepare all my blogs WAP ready. You can never be prepared enough for future potential/usage for your blogs.

My blogs are my money maker, I need to find avenues and ways to generate more money out of them. Although not many people surf sites using mobile, but its good to be prepared. Already today I saw ad impression on my AdSense dashboard, indicating, someone is on my blog via WAP mobile

No clicks so far however, but I think it’s a progression. Get a pool of WAP visitor over time, impression will increase if you’re WAP prepared and a percentage of them will click for sure

But to make your blog WAP enabled, I did my research and easily found my solution after a few searches online. I tried out a couple of WordPress plugins such as from Alex King and Lester Chan.

Some of it didn’t suit my expectation as it didn’t redirect mobile user to a WAP blog theme or it didn’t allow adding Google AdSense Mobile advertising code; or it was just too confusing where to add the codes

Well I found one by Andy Moore and it has all the requirements I was looking for. The plugin is just one simple file. Upload it, activate it, edit the settings under “Options” and there’s even a preference to add your Google AdSense Mobile ID

However the only downside, it seems the v1.3 I’m running has some MySQL error running on my options dashboard. I don’t know how serious is it, I’ll keep observing. The official site for the plugin, the support section is slow on the response site too

But other than that, I think I’m WAP Mobile ready on all my blogs
